How much do new windows cost in Luxembourg?
The price depends on size, frame profile, glazing, colour, options and fitting. Every window is made to measure, so we give you a detailed fixed price after a free measurement visit.
Is the measurement visit free?
Yes. The visit is free and comes with no obligation.
How long between ordering and fitting?
It depends on the products and the season. We give you a precise lead time in the quote.
How long does fitting take?
Usually one to two days for a house, depending on the number of windows.
uPVC or aluminium windows?
uPVC suits most houses on a sensible budget. Aluminium makes sense for large glazed areas and very slim frames.
Do I need triple glazing?
For a heated room in Luxembourg, almost always. In practice it is also a condition for Klimabonus.
Can I get Klimabonus for new windows?
If the building is more than 10 years old, the glazing insulates well enough and the wall is insulated or the home has mechanical ventilation. Approval must be obtained before the work starts.
Does 3% VAT apply to windows?
Yes, for a home more than 10 years old used as a main residence, subject to the conditions. The application is made before the work starts.
