Signs it is time for replacement windows
- Draughts or a cold feeling near the windows
- Condensation or mist between the panes
- Single glazing or old double glazing
- Warped frames that are hard to open or close
- Too much noise from the road, trains or aircraft
- Heating bills that keep going up
How window replacement works
- Online quote request: describe your project, with photos if you like.
- Free measurement visit: we measure every window, check the walls and advise you on materials and glazing.
- Detailed fixed-price quote: every window is listed with its size, options and fitting.
- Made to measure in our partner factory.
- Fitting by our own team in one to two days for a house, with floor protection and a full clean-up.
Renovation fit or full removal
A renovation fit keeps the old timber or metal frame and fits the new window inside it. It is quick and limits finishing work, but slightly reduces the glass area.
Full removal takes the old window out completely. It gives the best insulation and the largest glass area, but the finishes around the window need redoing.
During the measurement visit, we recommend the method that suits the condition of your windows and walls.
What our quote includes
- The made-to-measure windows with their options
- Removal and disposal of the old windows
- Fitting, seals and adjustment
- Cleaning up afterwards
The price depends on many factors, all explained in our guide to window prices.
