Why choose uPVC windows
uPVC is one of the most common materials for house windows, for good reasons:
- Strong insulation. The frames are split into several air chambers that slow heat loss. With triple glazing, the window keeps energy losses very low.
- Almost no maintenance. No painting, no varnish. Warm soapy water is enough.
- Plenty of colours. White, anthracite, grey or wood effect, with a different colour inside and outside if you like.
- Good value. For the same size, a uPVC window usually costs less than an aluminium one.
uPVC windows in anthracite, white or wood effect
Anthracite grey outside, white inside
A popular choice in Luxembourg: a modern look from the street, and a bright, neutral finish in the room.
Wood effect
A foil with a wood grain look, for older houses or a warmer style, without the upkeep of real timber.
Opening types and options
- Tilt and turn, the most common: the window opens inwards like a door or tilts at the top for ventilation.
- Fixed glazing where you never open: more light and a lower cost.
- French doors and balcony doors to reach the garden or balcony.
- Extra security on the ground floor: anti-burglary hardware and laminated glass depending on the range.
- Integrated roller shutters, manual, electric or solar, best decided when you order.
How the price is worked out
Every window is made to measure, so we do not publish catalogue prices. The price depends mainly on size, opening type, profile, glazing, colour and fitting conditions. Our guide to window prices explains each factor.
