Modern house with anthracite windows

How long does window replacement take?

The installation itself usually takes one to two days for a house. Before that come the measurement visit, the quote, any Klimabonus and 3% VAT applications, which must be made before the work starts, and then made-to-measure manufacturing. The total time depends mostly on manufacturing and the paperwork.

The typical timeline

  1. Online quote request: 2 minutes.
  2. Call back and free measurement visit: we book a time that suits you.
  3. Detailed fixed-price quote after the visit.
  4. Grant applications if you are eligible: Klimabonus approval and 3% VAT must be obtained before the work starts.
  5. Made-to-measure manufacturing in our partner factory.
  6. Installation by our team: one to two days for a house.

What can make it take longer

  • Grant paperwork, best started as soon as you have the quote.
  • Special colours or options.
  • Very large glazed openings or unusual shapes.

How to save time

  • Send photos of your windows with your quote request.
  • Have the building permit or the construction date ready, so we can check the grants.
  • Accept the quote quickly if no grants are involved.

FAQ

How long is each opening left open during installation?

Only a very short time: the new window goes in as soon as the old one comes out, one opening at a time.

Do I need to be at home during the installation?

It is best if someone is there at the start and end of the day, to give access and for the final check.
